How do I use SmartText AI?

1. Select any text on your Mac
2. Press Cmd+Shift+T (or click the menu bar icon)
3. See translation/improvement instantly
4. Copy or replace with one click

Why isn't the hotkey working?

SmartText AI requires Accessibility permissions to capture selected text. Go to:
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility
Enable SmartText AI in the list.

How many languages are supported?

SmartText AI supports 20+ languages including: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and more.

What's the difference between Free and Premium?

Free: 10 translations per day
Premium: Unlimited translations + priority support

How do I restore my purchase?

Click the menu bar icon → Upgrade to Premium → Click "Restore Purchases" at the bottom.

Can I use SmartText AI offline?

No, SmartText AI requires an internet connection to process text using AI.

Where is my translation history stored?

All translation history is stored locally on your Mac. We do not have access to your data. You can view and delete history anytime in the app.

How do I change the hotkey?

Currently, the hotkey is fixed to Cmd+Shift+T. Custom hotkeys are planned for a future update.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes! Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel:
App Store → Your Name (top) → Subscriptions → SmartText AI → Cancel

Translations are slow

Translation speed depends on your internet connection. Check your connection and try again.

Menu bar icon not appearing

2. Run this command in Terminal: killall SystemUIServer
3. Open the app again
